The city has applied to raise water rates. Though specifics are not available, the news release said residential rates would rise by 64.7% if approved by the Public Service Commission (PSC). There will be a PSC public hearing at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29 in the Black River Beach Neighborhood Center, Maplewood North Conference Room.
