This week, La Crosse is recognizing Transit Equity Days (TED) to highlight the importance of good public transportation. Highlights include a story time on an electric MTU bus and a free screening of The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks at the public library, free fares on the MTU on Tuesday  Feb. 4, and free fares on the Scenic Mississippi Regional Transit buses on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
